The Island Open Weekend 2021
2021 has seen The Island gradually getting busier and welcoming back the dancers, artists, musicians and circus performers who make this building such a unique place to be.
Our Open Weekend showcases a snippet of the work taking place in the building. Enjoy a virtual tour, take a class, join a workshop and find out what we’ve all been up to.
Our studio holders met up for a coffee and a cultural exchange, sharing ideas about art, processes, work, and everything in between. Check out the highlights here.
This year at The Island we’ve hosted 12 residencies, take a look at the range of projects we’ve supported.
Book onto a free taster class with one of our fabulous dance or circus teachers.
