‘Stay Late, Late Drive’ 22 – 25 / 09 The Vestibules

‘Stay Late, Late Drive’ (2023) examines the fleeting void of commuting. Photographers Buers and Aspland shuttle between locations, underpinning the exhibition with focus on British motorways, returning to the rural countryside, motel occupancy and absence. These images set a backdrop for both artists to communicate themes of motion, void spaces, transience and ephemera. Paired with an ongoing affiliation with Bristol, Buers and Aspland present artworks that pay ode to observation.

22 – 25th August, Park Street Vestibule, City Hall, College Green. BS1 5TR
