As soon as Roberta (aka Bob) was old enough to walk, she used to take herself to bed with a Fisher Price cassette player every night and sing herself to sleep. She’s still singing to this day.

Originally from Scotland, she has since made Bristol her forever home. Singer, songwriter, DJ, party thrower and co-founder of The Banana Sessions. When she’s not singing or writing songs, you can find her behind the wheels of steel busting out 90s bangers, electro, retro, ghetto, house and techno under her alias Discobobulator.

Roberta is the head honcho of queer collective Grrrl Crush, championing women, non binary and LGBTQ+ people in music and beyond. From club nights to punk gigs to workshops to 1-1 lessons, her mission is to make space for the under-represented in the music industry.
