Burning Sisterhood
Burning Sisterhood is artist Raquel Blazquez’s solo show. This collection explores, through colourful figurative paintings, Raquel’s own story as a woman. Navigating the depths of women’s connection, from competition and loneliness, to collaboration, creation and magic. Raquel’s purpose is to share her own story and experiences through art, inviting the viewer to explore the complexities of their own experiences and emotions, and to find healing in the shared human experience.
In this exhibition, she wishes to bring up topics of mental health, women’s communities, and intersectional feminism.
Join Raquel for the opening night on the 5th of July, for an evening of art, storytelling, live singing, snacks and drinks. Singing circle @ 7:30pm Everybody welcome. Free entry to exhibition and opening night, workshops and sound bath £5-10.
