QUINTIMACY WORKSHOP – Arts Mansion 16th to 17th September

Quintimacy® level 1 is a unique opportunity to explore intimacy, consent and erotic desire from a trans centred and queer point of view. Quintimacy is an exclusively Queer space, held by experienced and qualified professional practitioners in Somatic Sex Education, Sexological Bodywork, Yoga Therapy and Somatic Coaching. Consent and respect are at the core of the work, a culture of trauma-informed relating as individuals and as a group is cultivated.

Offerings will include embodied consent exercises, touch, deep and authentic connection, deep listening and empathy, and cuddles/holds, as well as intimate and erotic embodiment and sensual touch and massage. There is a focus on gender-freeing and gender-affirming approaches to the body. Attendees develop a language and consent skills, based on the Betty Martin Wheel of Consent, which can be transformative in many areas of our lives, including intimate relationships.

Many people who have attended or been involved in Quintimacy have a sense of community and of the idea of ‘erotic peers’ as well as new friendships and connections. In October 2023, for people who have attended a Quintimacy level 1 event, we are holding a 3 day level 2 event in Manchester at which participants are invited to go further and deeper in explorations of consent, touch and desire, including playing with power, stronger sensation and exploring the erotic self/ves. Attending this level would enable you to join us in Manchester for even more queer intimacy!
