Dance for Performance workshop with Marianne Machin, December 11th

In this session the group will work on a full choreography, concentrating on quality of movement, musicality and performance. The style will be jazz based with a pop edge (think full pop video fantasy). 

Date: Sunday 11th December 2022 Time: 11am to 1.30pm Cost: £10 

Expect: Dancing to pop music, lots of fast choreo to learn, and group working (so you’ll need to be happy to be given positions etc). Dance experience recommended. Marianne is a Bristol based choreographer, dancer and teacher. She performed with her dance troupe, Sparklemotion for 15 years and now choreographs as onlychilddancer. Projects and collaborators include Guilty Pleasures (club night), Metronomy (band), Mike Baldwin (director), David Wilson (director), Sea Power (band), Bryony Kimmings (live artist) Boogaloo Stu (cabaret artist) and DTYM (beloved Bristol club night). Take a look at Marianne’s work here www.mariannemachin.co.uk
